The Digambara (空衣波) sect monks of Jainism in India wear no clothes and thus, they are called the Skyclad People. They meticulously practice their belief of not harming any human or non-human. Their strict adherence to doing no harm is in accordance to their rigorous ascetic exercises. Living in a world where we witness environmental damage on an epic scale partly due to the indifferent attitude that people have towards the well-being of fellow humans, there is something that we can learn from Jains who go through extreme lengths to not harm any living creatures.
